ATLANTA – December 22, 2015 – D1 announces the August 2015 opening of its latest collaboration with French luxury retailer Louis Vuitton.
This much anticipated project is located in the award-winning, newly renovated CityCenterDC, in the heart of Washington, D.C. This 2.5 million square-foot, mixed-use development includes office space, residential, retail and hospitality offerings. Louis Vuitton’s new freestanding store features approximately 3,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and nearly 2,000 square feet of second-floor office space. Completed in August 2015, the store is located on a prominent corner of a pedestrian plaza, directly across from other French luxury goods purveyors Hermes and Dior.
Louis Vuitton’s two-story corner façade showcases the Brand’s signature “flower pattern” black and gold metal panels, which reflect light differently throughout the day. The CityCenterDC location is unique, as it focuses on shoes, travel and leather goods.
This recent collaboration with Louis Vuitton at CityCenterDC is one of half a dozen retail build-outs D1 has completed for the Brand within the last year.
